PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION
ALUMINUM POWDER, SPHERICAL
This specification is approved for use by the Naval Air Systems Command, Department of the
Navy, and is available for use by all Departments and Agencies of the Department of Defense.
1. SCOPE
1.1 Scope. The specification defines the minimum requirements for four types of spherical
aluminum powders used as propellant ingredients.
1.2 Classification. The spherical aluminum powder shall be of the following types, as
specified:
